St. Roch Day - Blessing
of the Animals
St. Roch is the Patron Saint of dogs and those who love them; a blessing
of the animals, all dogs in this case, was celebrated at St. Paul's on August 16th. Most of the dogs were well behaved,
but the Rector's pair of Goldens acted up like typical PKs, even auditioning for the choir. Despite this cacaphony, it
would be safe to say that a good time was had by all and everyone, especially the dogs, received a blessing.
