Local Outreach

St. Paul’s has an active and important presence in the local community, and supports many local organizations financially and with volunteers.

We give quarterly donations to Big Brother/Big Sister, Meals on Wheels, the Senior Center, and PUD Neighbor to Neighbor Energy Assistance. We donate to Relay for Life and have a team from the church. We staff Community Meals 4-5 times a year. We contribute to Habitat for Humanity, and several members work regularly on Habitat houses (including houses for two church members!) A number of St. Paul’s members volunteer as SMART (Start Making a Reader Today) readers and we give a donation to the program. We provide holiday gift baskets for Haven (Haven from Domestic Violence) and make a donation to the program. St. Paul’s collects food for the Backpack Program (providing weekend meals for homeless and poor children) and regularly helps in the Backpack pantry.
